WWE & Cheap Heat Pro announce multi-year partnership
Cheap Heat Pro (CHP), one of the fastest-growing wrestling brands in the world, and WWE, part of TKO Group Holdings, today announced a groundbreaking multi-year partnership designed to create unparalleled crossover opportunities for NXT Superstars and CHP talent.
This agreement will provide wrestlers with unique chances to gain exposure across flagship programming, including weekly shows like CHP Inferno, which airs live on Twitch. Talent will also participate in marquee CHP premium live events, enhancing their in-ring development with access to world-class coaching and competition.
“This partnership reinforces what we always aim to deliver: innovation, talent development, and fan-first entertainment.” said Shawn Michaels, Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative for WWE and former CHP World Heavyweight Champion. “The collaboration between CHP and WWE offers a fresh platform for growth and ensures we deliver next-level content that captivates fans around the globe.”
Monta Freekum, the visionary behind Cheap Heat Pro, shared his enthusiasm for the collaboration: “We at Cheap Heat Pro are thrilled to officially kick off this partnership with WWE. It’s a tremendous opportunity for all the talent involved to push the business forward and give wrestling fans worldwide the chance to witness history unfold. Together, we will deliver some of the most extraordinary moments in the history of professional wrestling and sports entertainment.”
The partnership began to take shape in the previous season when Monta Freekum hinted at a working relationship between NXT and CHP, fueled in part by Shawn Michaels’ unique dual role in both companies. Building on this foundation, Season 1 of Cheap Heat Pro will kick off with a highly anticipated draft where NXT Superstars will be eligible to join CHP. A limited number of slots will also be available for WWE main roster talent, adding to the star power that already includes the likes of Bianca Belair, Randy Orton, Asuka, and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin in the current CHP lineup.
This collaboration promises to deliver electrifying storytelling, unforgettable matches, and an expanded landscape of competition that will captivate wrestling fans worldwide. Cheap Heat Pro continues to air its signature events globally, ensuring fans can tune in to witness every high-stakes moment.
Season 1 of CHP is set to debut with this exciting new chapter, forever altering the professional wrestling landscape. Fans, get ready for history to unfold.
